I need to make a reservation for Saturday March 18, and I accidentally made a reservation for the 19th. I am willing to pay the extra amount for Saturday. How do I do this?

Hi Teresa! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

The Disneyland Resort theme park admission ticket system operates on a tier system for one-day tickets. You can choose a different theme park reservation on dates of the same or lower tier. In order to do this, check the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar, since dates and parks are subject to availability. Then, log into your Disneyland account and navigate to the "My Disneyland" drop-down menu on the main page. Select "Ticket and Reservation Details" and click "Cancel Reservation" on the reservation you would like to cancel. After you've done this, you'll be able to book a new date at an equal or lower tier.

However, if you're looking to upgrade to a higher tier and pay the difference, you need to speak to a helpful Cast Member at Ticket Services or at the Main Entrance Ticket Booths to see if they could assist you in that transaction.

Mistakes happen and I sure hope you're able to get this straightened out and begin planning for your magical visit! March will be a fantastic time to visit. Be sure to check out the Disney Parks Blog for all the updates on what's new, including the Disney100 Celebration at Disneyland Resort and the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival.

    Have the most magical time!
