Hey there, hi there, ho there, Miguel!
Thanks for stopping by with a fantastic
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!
Oh boy... it looks like you'll be heading to The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a short couple of days. It doesn't get more exciting than that! I'm here to help you prepare for a
swell time at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Miguel, as of last month,
theme park reservations are no longer required for date-based theme park tickets. When purchasing any standard multi-day
theme park ticket on the Walt Disney World Resort website or in the My Disney Experience mobile app, you'll be prompted to select a "start date" for your theme park admission.
Tickets that require a Guest to select a date range in this manner are considered date-based tickets which do
not require a theme park ticket. Therefore, if you've already chosen a "start date" for your theme park ticket, no further action is needed and no theme park reservation is needed! For a 3-day ticket, you'll have a 5-day window to use up all of your admission entitlements. After that
valid use period has passed, any remaining entitlements will expire and be lost.
If you'd prefer to purchase theme park tickets in person, you're welcome to do so once you arrive at The Most Magical Place on Earth! The friendly Cast Members at the theme park ticket booths or at the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs would be happy to assist you. Did you know that, right now, Florida Residents can take advantage of a 2-day or 3-day
Florida Resident Disney Thrills Ticket? These tickets can be customized to include either the Park Hopper option, Water Park and Sports option, or Park Hopper Plus option and can be used anytime through March 15, 2024. However, it's important to note that this ticket type
does require theme park reservations at this time.
Miguel, I hope you've found these details helpful as you gear up to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. I wish you a visit filled with magical memories! If you have any additional planning questions, you can always stop back by
planDisney again. We're all ears!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
