Hello, Juan Carlos! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for stopping by to see us! I see that you’re planning an end-of-the-year trip to Walt Disney World, but you’re concerned about what you will be able to experience while you’re there. You’ve come to the right place for sure!
First of all, you are correct that you need a Park Pass Reservation to visit a Theme Park. The most current availability is displayed on the
Park Pass availability calendar. Especially around major holidays, there are days that Park Pass Reservations will fill up. Park capacity is still limited due to the current situation, but availability can shift as the dates draw nearer. However, there is no guarantee. I recommend that you keep checking the calendar to see what may become available and that you invest in
Park Hopper Tickets as well! If availability opens up at any Theme Park, you may enter that Theme Park first, provided that you have a Park Pass Reservation. After 2 pm, you can then “Park Hop” to any other Park of your choosing! Alternatively, if this is just one date among many that you will be visiting Walt Disney World, you can simply use it as an often much-needed rest day. Perhaps a visit to
Disney Springs and/or a Disney Golf Course plus some time lounging in the Resort Hotel would be just the Ticket!
Juan Carlos, I hope you have a magical vacation! Please don’t forget to come back and see us again anytime we can help!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Clara
