Hello and welcome to planDisney, Ronnie!
We are happier than Pluto with a bone to talk to you about your January trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Winter is a great time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort as you’ll get to enjoy the parks in the cooler temperatures, perfect for packing in a few extra attractions!
Now, Ronnie, let’s talk about park reservations. The quick answer to your question is YES. You will need to hold a
(complimentary) park reservation through the Disney Park Pass system in addition to your park-hopper ticket to gain entry. You only make one Disney Park Pass reservation per day (for your starting park) and then
beginning at 2:00 pm you are able to “hop” to any park with availability, no reservation needed.
Once your tickets are linked, you can make your Disney Park Pass reservations by logging into your
My Disney Experience account or by using the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Ronnie, to see what parks are available for your travel dates, click
HERE.
I hope this helps as you’re looking ahead to your upcoming trip. Since you’ll be visiting during
the 18-month long celebration in commemoration of the 50th anniversary, make sure to read about all of the extra pixie dust you’ll see around the parks.
Best wishes, Ronnie, for a vacation packed full of memories and Magic. If you have any other questions, please come on back to planDisney. Like the popular Minnie headbands, we are all EARS!
