Hello, Deanna,
Now, that brings back memories. One of our favorite Thanksgiving celebrations was spent at the Disneyland Resort, specifically at the
Disneyland Hotel. Our family will treasure those memories always. I can’t wait for you to experience the wonder of the holiday at the Disneyland Resort. I’m pretty sure you will end up feeling very grateful for the experience.
Thanksgiving day dining at
Goofy’s Kitchen is a wonderful choice. Because this location is very popular, advanced dining reservations are highly recommended. It may be possible to join the
mobile dine walk-up list for dining times. But such spaces may be very limited. Judging by the relatively few advanced reservations remaining, I would recommend booking as soon as possible. At this time, it appears that most if not all of the Thanksgiving dinner reservations are booked up. But I’m still seeing a lot of early-morning brunch reservations remaining. And don’t worry, Goofy still has special Thanksgiving day menu items planned even for the early brunches.
So far, other dining locations at the Disneyland Resort that have announced special Thanksgiving offerings include
Storytellers Cafe and
Napa Rose, both in
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Those are also extremely popular options. So I would recommend checking for any available reservations there as well. And it is worth noting the unique cancellation policies for these seasonal offerings. Currently, Guests who book Thanksgiving day reservations for these locations must cancel at least 72 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees. If there are different dining times or locations that you may wish to enjoy, you might keep an eye out for reservations that become available should other Guests need to cancel just before their cancellation window ends.
Other restaurants inside the Disneyland Resort theme parks often feature special menu items on select holidays. I recommend following the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest news, especially the
Disney Eats Foodie Guides they post. Another scrumptious choice would be the
Disney Festival of Holidays, which takes place in
Disney California Adventure Park. Part of the Disney Festival of Holidays is the
Festive Foods Marketplace. If you plan on enjoying the Marketplace offerings, I highly recommend purchasing one or more Sip and Savor Passes. That will allow you to easily sample many of the offerings at the various booths.
Wherever you end up dining on Thanksgiving day, I hope you enjoy the spirit of the season. It will make you want to
give thanks all year long!
Have a most magical time, Deanna!
