Jungseob from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Do I need to make a reservation to use Droid depot in these days? Disneyland App says no reservation is required but I see reservation is highly recommended in its web pages - I'm just confused. Please let me know if you have previous experience.

    Bright Suns, Jungseob!

Welcome to planDisney! Headed to the Black Spire Outpost on the Planet of Batuu?! Safe travels on your journey and please enjoy your time on the Outer Rim. You’ve come to us with a great question! I’ve traveled to this planet many times and I would be happy to provide you with an answer.

During the phased reopening of Disneyland Resort, advanced reservations for Droid Depot are not required. Instead, please check-in with a Cast Member when you’re ready to build your droid. They'll inform you of the availability for the day of your visit.

While you’re on Batuu, make sure to immerse yourself in the culture. Try the Blue and Green Milk at the Milk Stand. Pilot the Millennium Falcon and join the Resistance in an epic battle against the First Order. And don’t forget to sample the local cuisine! My personal favorites are the Ronto-less Garden Wrap from Ronto Roasters and the Felucian Kefta & Hummus Garden Spread from Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo

Enjoy your time exploring the Galaxy’s Edge!

Meet the Panelist: Tiffanie, California

Greetings from San Diego, CA! I'm a wife, cat mom and Disney-loving "childfree millennial." I've traveled all around the world, but my favorite place to visit is "The Happiest Place on Earth!" I've been going to the Disneyland Resort for over 25 years. Each time I step through the turnstiles to enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy, I feel the magic of Walt Disney's original park. I can't wait to answer your questions and help you experience all that the Disneyland Resort has to offer! Learn More About Tiffanie
