    Do I need to make a reservation for Columbia Harbour House?

    Hey there, Deborah. Thanks for asking your question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. 

    Columbia Harbour House is one of my favorite Quick Service Dining locations at Magic Kingdom Park. A Quick Service Dining location is a restaurant that you don't need a reservation for. You'll place your order and pay at a counter, find a seat and wait for your food. The food at Quick Service Dining locations at Walt Disney World is absolutely delicious, it's just served up faster than that of a Table Service Restaurant. 

    If you haven't already decided on what you might try at Columbia Harbour House, let me make a suggestion. The trio platter on the menu is always my go to, and it's big enough to share. On this platter there's a combination of fried shrimp, chicken breast nuggets and battered fish with hushpuppies and french fries. While everything is fried on this plate, it's not heavy or greasy. I've tried to recreate this dinner many times at home but it's always better at Columbia Harbour House. If the restaurant seems full, keep in mind there is additional seating upstairs that never really seems to fill up. It's my secret spot.

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
