Hi Lori and welcome to planDisney!
Walt Disney World certainly understands that plans can change and are usually very accommodating when needing to modify or reschedule a vacation. There are different ways to do this depending on how you booked and what kind of vacation you booked, such a package or if you booked your
Disney Resort hotel and
theme park tickets separately.
First, I suggest looking to see if you can
modify your plans online. This is the easiest way to reschedule, but not all plans are eligible for this feature.
Log in to your My Disney Experience account online and view your plans. On this page, you will be able to see all of your reservations listed including your Resort hotel, dining and park reservations. If you can modify your vacation online, you will see a link that says "Modify Reservation". If this link is missing, you will have to
give the Disney Reservations Center a call.
Please note that making any changes your reservations will be subject to a price change if the Resort hotel and/or tickets pricing for the new dates is different from your original booking. My mother-in-law recently changed the dates of her tickets after not being able to use them initially and there was a small increase in price.
As soon as you know your new dates, make sure you secure your
theme park reservations and dining reservations.
Disney dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance, so if your new dates are within that time frame, you can rebook those now.
Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
