If I need to reschedule my reservation, how do I know if I can use for a future date with different tier levels & black out dates?

    Hi Nalet, welcome to planDisney!

You bring a really great question, and I’m happy to help! I'll start with a bit of background. The Disneyland Resort uses a ticketing tier system for standard one-day theme park tickets. This means the price of the ticket will vary depending on the theme park reservation date that you select. Tickets currently range from Tier 1 to Tier 6. Tier 1 has the most restrictions in terms of eligible reservation dates and Tier 6 has the least number of restrictions. The ticket that you purchase will be valid for admission on the date you selected and on dates in the same or lower tier. Peak demand days, like holidays and weekends, are typically higher tier days.

As mentioned above, the ticketing tier system only applies to standard one-day tickets. So, if you have a multi-day ticket, the ticketing tier system would not apply. First and foremost, you can take a look at the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to see if the park and date you are wanting to change your reservation to is available. Next, you will need to cancel your current reservation before you can make a new one. To cancel your current reservation, you'll need to log in to your Disneyland Resort account, select the "My Disneyland" link, and then click the "Ticket and Reservation Details" link. Select the reservation you wish to cancel and click "Cancel Reservation". Once canceled, you're free to go ahead and book your new reservation!

Now if you have a standard one-day ticket in a lower Tier, and you wish to attend on a date that requires a higher Tier ticket, no worries! You can upgrade your tickets. Just call the Disneyland Resort Ticket Line at 714-781-4636, and the amazing Cast Members can help!

Hope I was able to help, and if you have any other questions, you know where to find us!
