Greetings fellow Disney Traveler!
We are delighted to see you stopping by planDisney with a question! If you need an electric conveyance vehicle (ECV) at all times, I suggest using the Disney Featured provider,
ScooterBug. They can deliver the ECV to your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. If you only need an ECV in the theme parks or Disney Springs, you can use
ECV Rentals in the parks or Disney Springs. If you rent in the theme parks, know that ECVs are rented on a first come, first serve basis, so there is no guarantee that one would be available when you arrive, especially if you arrive later in the day.
As you prepare for your visit, I also recommend taking a look at all of the
services for guests with disabilities. Be sure to check out the
theme park guide maps for guests with disabilities and make note of the
accessibility options for each attraction. Going through the attractions at each park and reviewing the accessibility options will help you plan your park strategy in advance. This kind of planning will be especially helpful if you use
Lightning Lane passes.
When my husband used an ECV on a prior trip, we rented at EPCOT and Disney's Animal Kingdom theme parks. The process was quite efficient and we arrived right at park opening to rent. As you make your plans, also think about how you will get around your resort hotel. Disney resort hotels can be quite expansive. Keep this in mind when deciding if you need an ECV for the entire stay or just in the theme parks. When possible, we reserve a preferred room so that we can be closer to the main dining areas at the resort hotel. In the meantime, in the spirit of Tiana, I am sending a wish to the Evening Star trusting that you will get that ECV rented!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
