Hiya, Nancy! Thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question. I see that your trip to the
Most Magical Place on Earth is right around the corner. I bet you are getting so excited! The countdown is on!
Nancy, you can find
Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) for rent at all four Walt Disney World Theme Parks, both Water Parks and at Disney Springs. ECVs rent for about $50.00 per day (price is subject to change without notice) with a refundable deposit at each location. While you aren't able to leave that specific location with your ECV, your rental is transferable. So that means if you visit
Magic Kingdom Park in the morning and then want to park hop over to
EPCOT later in the evening you won't need to repay for an ECV at EPCOT. You'll simply show your receipt and if there is an ECV available at that time, it's all yours. Renting an ECV is on a first-come, first-serve basis. You will not be able to reserve one ahead of time through Walt Disney World. There are limited quantities of ECVs at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks so it is recommended to rent one early in the day if you know you need one.
However, if you would like to rent an ECV ahead of time for the length of your stay, you can look into outside companies such as Scooterbug which is the Disney Featured Provider. They can drop off the scooter at the
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel that you are staying at and you can use it at the resort, the theme parks and wherever else you may need. Then, on the day that you check out, Scooterbug will come back and pick it up for you. You do not need to be present the day the Scooterbug drops off the EVC or picks it up. It can be left with Bell Services and you can pick it up at your convenience. I love that because it can be waiting on you when you arrive. So nice!
I'm going to
link the map where you can find ECV rentals at the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks. They are all found right inside the theme park gates, you shouldn't have a problem finding it, Nancy. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help.
Enjoy your vacation!
