Do I need to rent an RV for Fort Wilderness or are they provided? And if so, where and who should I contact? Thanks:)

    Hi Lynne!

So happy to hear that you are considering a stay at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort! Great question! RVs are not provided when booking a reservation at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Many Guests are RV owners and bring them along while others rent them from third party companies that set them up on behalf of the Guests. Some of my friends have rented from a company called Meacham RV and have been happy with the rental. My family and I have explored the option of renting an RV but have ultimately gone with the cabins! The cabins can sleep up to 6 guests and are very cozy! Be sure to check out the special offers on lodging, including the cabins by visiting this page: Special Offers and Deals.

Did you know?: There are many fabulous special events and  tours available for reservation at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. One is called the Wilderness Back Trail Adventure which is a segway tour through the resort and beyond. The second is the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue which is an amazing show and dining experience! Be sure to check these out!

It has been a pleasure assisting you! Please feel free to send in any other questions you may have. Thanks for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

     Happy Planning!
