We will need to rent an ECV for my husband at the parks. He can only walk short distances and stand for short periods of time. He is concern about the walk from the parking lot to the ECV rental . Is there a solution. Thanks.

Hi Rita! Thanks for the great question. If you have a disabled sticker for your vehicle, there is designated parking closer to park entrances for you. All theme park parking lots have shuttles that bring guests from the parking lot to the park entrance. There will, however, still be a walk. If this is an issue, you might want to consider renting a wheelchair or ECV for the entire time rather than just for during your park visits. There are several companies in the Orlando area that do this, and will drop off and pick up your rental at your resort. This way, he will also have use of the ECV while at the resort.

    Hope this helps Rita!
