Hey, Rutha, and welcome to planDisney. I understand you are looking for a way to remove a Guest from your Disney reservation. While I am not clear on what type of reservation, I want to give you some information that will help in all situations. Reservations may be dining experiences, tickets only, Disney Resorts Hotel Package reservations, or special events. Let’s look at the ticket and Disney Resort Hotel Package reservation cancelations.
Disney Theme Park tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. If you have purchased a ticket for someone and they are unable to make it, as long as the tickets are unused, you may assign them or gift them to another person. Essentially, you may bring a different Guest. If you are unable to bring another Guest then you may keep the ticket for yourself to use at a later date.
If you need to change your
Disney Resort Hotel Package to fewer Guests you will need to make the change directly with Disney or with the third-party vacation planner if you used one. You may
call Disney directly and speak with a Cast Member. Please do this at least 31 days in advance of your arrival date to
make changes without penalties.
planDisney Pro Tip: If you have
advance dining reservations and a member of your party cannot make it, be sure to change the dining reservation to reflect the correct number of people.
Rutha, I hope this information helps your August Disney trip be the best adventure ever. Please
write me back directly with any follow-up questions.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
