Hiya Scott and welcome to planDisney!
I don't know about you but I follow Walt Disney World's lead and as soon as it's November 1st it's a wrap for Halloween. Move over pumpkin spice and make way for gingerbread! I'm so excited to hear that you're thinking about getting in the holiday mood at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party this year. If you plan on spending the day in Magic Kingdom Park and sticking around for
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you'll need both a regular
Theme Park Ticket with a
Theme Park Reservation via the Disney Park Pass System and a separate ticket to the party.
Now I will certainly champion a full day in Magic Kingdom Park. But if you can only choose to be a Guest during the day or to hit the party, I think attending the party is the way to go. Party Guests can enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4 PM and still get a bit of that day time feel. Once the day Guests have exited the park and the party officially starts at 7 PM the extra holiday magic can commence. With dazzling entertainment like
Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show and even a bit of Christmas cheer like snow on Main Street, U.S.A., you're bound to feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Scott, you have the most holly jolly good time as you spend time at The Most Magical Place on Earth. Be sure to check out our special holiday episode of the
planDisney Podcast to see all the ways you can make the season merry and bright. And if you have any other questions, please feel free to
come back for another chat!
Happy planning!
