Hello, Mike!
My family and I recently returned to the Beehive State from a marvelous vacation to the Disneyland Resort. It was simply magical. And that was thanks in no small part to accommodations offered to
Guests with disabilities, including the
Disability Access Service (DAS).
To register for Disability Access Service, stop by any one of the several
Guest Relations locations inside the theme parks. Be sure to have the Guest who requires accommodation present, as their picture will need to be taken. The Cast Members will interview you to determine what accommodations are appropriate for your individual circumstances. If DAS is deemed an appropriate accommodation, the service will be linked to your tickets and you will be able to access the DAS return time self-selection tool through the new button that will appear in the
Disneyland mobile app.
Tony’s Tip: If your visit to the Disneyland Resort is between 2 and 30 days in the future, you may be able to register for
DAS Advance. This registration process requires a device with a camera to allow you to have a personalized interview with a Cast Member remotely. Again, the Guest requiring accommodations must be present for the interview. Before you request a chat with a Cast Member, you will need to log into your Disneyland Resort account and link all of your party’s tickets in the app. Note that wait times can be long for the live Chat with a Cast Member. So it’s a good idea to have plenty of time available in your schedule to complete the process. You can request a live chat starting as early as 9:00 AM Pacific Time, on up through 8:00 PM Pacific Time. When you are ready, just click on the “Request Live Chat” button from the
DAS Advance webpage.
I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Mike. Please
give Mickey Mouse a hug for me!
