If I need to get a refund for my Disneyland ticket can i use the credit to buy a disneyworld Ticket?

Hi Shari! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney!

I'm so sorry to hear that it looks like your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth has been delayed. While tickets are non-refundable, they do have a long window within which they can be used. For single-day tickets purchased this year, you have until December 30, 2023! Even if your ticket expires, you can always apply the value to the purchase of a new ticket at the Disneyland Resort so the magic never fully burns out! At this time, tickets purchased for the Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort are separate and non-transferable.

While it sounds like a trip out west is not in the cards for the foreseeable future, I did want to put a few dates on your radar that might lead you to use that magical ticket. April 22nd is a big day for us Disneyland fans. We will be welcoming back some beloved nighttime spectaculars to both parks! World of Color will light up the night at Disney California Adventure Park while Disneyland Forever Fireworks will sparkle over Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Park. If you have some nostalgia woven into your Disneyland memories, you'll be just as excited as I am to see the Main Street Electrical Parade floating once again down Main Street, U.S.A. with a newly re-imagined finale float featuring characters from Encanto, Moana, and more!

We don't talk about Bruno, but we do talk about Halloween Time! The Halloween festivities generally open in mid-September and run just past the main event itself in early November. The fall is my absolute favorite time of year in the parks. The festive Main Street Pumpkin Festival, seasonal treats, the Oogie Boogie Bash, and your favorite characters in costume! Not to mention Jack Skellington and his band of characters taking over the Haunted Mansion for another year of Haunted Mansion Holiday! And of course, there are the holidays, also known as the most magical time of the year! From early November through the first week of January, you can enjoy A Christmas Fantasy Parade marching down Main Street, U.S.A., experience "Believe ... In Holiday Magic" Fireworks, delight in handmade candy canes and peppermint Mickey beignets, and sail through "it's a small world" Holiday!

Shari, I sure hope you are able to make it over to the Happiest Place on Earth. No matter when you decide to visit, there will be magic around every turn. If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney

    Magic awaits!
