Hello there, Katie, and welcome to
planDisney!
I always find it so exciting when someone finds an old Walt Disney World Theme Park ticket. Talk about some major pixie dust! I think you'll be happy to know that
Walt Disney World does continue to honor all unexpired theme park tickets with remaining days on them.
Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets have changed with the addition of the internet and MyDisneyExperince. You'll now need to link that ticket to your account in order to use it. Because the ticket was from quite some time ago, you may need to have it
converted into a new style of ticket so the number will link. To do this, you can call Guest Relations at (407) 939-1289 and a Cast Member will be happy to assist you.
In addition to your
Walt Disney World Theme Park Ticket, Katie, to visit right now you'll also need to make what is called a
park pass reservation. Park pass reservations are basically like a virtual placeholder in line at the select park you'd like to visit each day. Because the Walt Disney World Theme Parks are still operating at a limited capacity, this greatly helps with crowd control. To make park pass reservations, you'll first link your tickets to your MyDisneyExperience account. Then, you'll head over to the park pass reservation website. From there, you'll select your travel party, a date on the calendar and then what theme park you'd like to visit. If all goes well you'll be taken to a confirmation page and have the option to select for another day. It's a pretty simple process.
Katie, I am so happy that you'll be visiting Walt Disney World with your old but newly found tickets. That's so fun. If you have any other questions before you go, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help.
Enjoy!
Jackie H.
