I need a recommendation for where to eat dinner prior to a dessert party at the Grand Floridian Hotel.

Hi, Elise!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

With its elegant beauty, spectacular views of Cinderella Castle, and convenient monorail access, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort Hotels.  Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is also known for its top-notch restaurants, including AAA Five Diamond Award recipient, Victoria & Albert's, so you will have several great places to choose from.

For fine dining, Citricos and Narcoossee's are both excellent.  If you're interested in a more casual meal, Grand Floridian Cafe is a hidden gem.  If you'd like to dine with some of your favorite Disney characters, 1900 Park Fare would be the place to go.  Since you'll be attending a dessert party later on in the evening, perhaps you would like a smaller dinner to save room for all of those tasty party treats.  Gasparilla Island Grill is a quick-service restaurant that would be perfect for a small bite to eat.  The new Enchanted Rose Lounge has a great appetizer menu, so that could also be an option for a lighter meal.

If you wish to dine at a table-service restaurant, please keep in mind that reservations are recommended.  Dining reservations can be made 180 days in advance either online or using your My Disney Experience mobile app.
