If I need to put a room request and restaurant request in, where is the best place/contact to do this?

Welcome back, Marie! I'm delighted to see you have another question for the panel, especially as it involves one of my favourite things at Walt Disney World... dining!

For me, the magic of a Disney trip begins long before I walk through those park gates and stroll along Main Street, U.S.A. The planning beforehand is when your holiday starts to sparkle, so I’m excited to hear that you want to look at booking dining reservations and room requests at your Disney Resort Hotel.

Before you arrive at your Disney Resort, around 60 days before your stay, you'll be able to request a specific room at your hotel. You can do this by logging in to the My Disney Experience website, on your My Disney Experience app, or by phoning a helpful Cast Member here. While it's not guaranteed, Cast Members will go to infinity and beyond to try to accommodate your requests. So, I'm hoping with a little sprinkle of pixie dust, you'll get the magical hotel room you've been dreaming of!

You'll be pleased to hear that, as you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, the booking window for dining reservations will open up 60 days before you check-in. In my experience, the simplest way to make reservations is through the My Disney Experience app. So, although this is still a little way away for you, Marie, it's a good idea to start browsing all of the delicious dining options and menus in advance. Then you'll be ready to try and grab your favourite restaurants as soon as you reach the 60 day mark!

While I love to sample all of the Mickey-shaped snacks around the parks, when it's time for a sit down meal, I always make sure I book a Character Dining experience. Character Dining is my family’s must-do experience, as we love to meet our favourite Disney pals while enjoying Mickey Waffles! One of my core memories is enjoying breakfast with the Princesses at Cinderella's Royal Table, as the sun rose over the castle and turned the skies pink. The photos in front of Cinderella Castle were beautiful, and it's a great time to get group pictures while the park is still sleepy and quiet.

Wherever you choose to dine, Marie, I hope you make cherished memories to last a lifetime.

Come back and see me again at planDisney, you're as welcome as can be.

    Magical Wishes,

    Abi
