Hi there, Sergio! Thanks for visiting us at planDisney!
I am so sorry to hear there has been a bit of a mix-up with the ticket purchasing process. I can see how this is an easy mistake to make and I assure you that you are not the first one to experience such a situation.
Though both are part of the same larger company, the
Disneyland Resort and
Walt Disney World Resort function as two separate entities entirely. Tickets between the two locations are not interchangeable. Unfortunately, Walt Disney World tickets are
non-refundable and non-transferrable, making this situation a bit stickier. I think the best plan of action is to contact a Disneyland Resort Cast Member at the
Ticket Services Line. Over the phone, you'll be able to explain the details of your particular situation and see if there is anything they can do to resolve the little switcharoo!
Though I know it was not your intention, I highly recommend making a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort at least once! It is a bucket list vacation! With four theme parks,
two water parks and
Disney Springs, the outdoor shopping district, there is enough at The Most Magical Place on Earth to keep you entertained for as long as your heart desires!
Whenever you're ready to make the leap, feel free to reach back out to us here at
planDisney before, during and after your stay with any questions!
Have a magical day,
Ashley
