Do I need to purchase tickets for admission for my 2 year old to enter the ESPN worldwide sports center? I also need to confirm if she can ride the bus with me without needing a pass? Thank you.

Welcome to planDisney, Emily! I'm so glad you decided to bring your question to us! It looks like your trip is coming up in just a few weeks! I know you must be so excited!

The ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, located in Walt Disney World, is a multi-purpose athletic facility that hosts sporting competitions year-round. Tickets for events held there are typically purchased through the organizer. You can find the current calendar here, along with links to additional event-specific and purchasing information. While tickets are not needed for children ages 2 and under to enter Disney Theme Parks and are not typically needed at ESPN Wide World of Sports, prices and policies vary by organization. It is strongly recommended to purchase your tickets prior to arrival, since there is no box office on site, although Guest Relations will be available to help.

I'm happy to tell you that your 2-year-old can ride the bus with you, no pass needed. A wide array of complimentary transportation options is available to guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort. When my girls were toddlers, riding the bus was just as exciting as the theme park attractions! There's just something about being in that "Disney bubble" that makes everything more fun!

While you are enjoying a break from the Pennsylvania winter, I hope you get the chance to visit Magic Kingdom Park. It is a favorite of little princesses and grown-up ones alike. The Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is a not-to-be-missed experience in my book. Grab a bite to eat at Sleepy Hollow (trust me on this), stake out a spot along the route, then watch your sweet girl light up as all of her favorite characters float by and wave! I know it sounds cliché, but it truly is magical, and I never tire of it!

I hope this helps, Emily! May you, your daughter, and your entire traveling party have a wonderful time at The Most Magical Place on Earth! And best of luck to whoever you are cheering on at ESPN! If you have any more questions, please come back to planDisney!
