    do i need to purchase a theme park ticket to attend a very merry Christmas party?

    Hello Arnold, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    I absolutely love spending the holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort. The decorations are just what I need to raise my holiday spirits. I am happy to see that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort this year during the holiday season.

    I am happy to tell you that you will only need a special event ticket to attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. This event begins at 7:00 p.m. but ticket holders have been able to enter the Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 p.m. Cast Members will begin distributing wristbands to partygoers at a specially marked entrance at that time. However, if you wish to enter the Magic Kingdom any earlier in the day, you will need to have a regular theme park ticket to enjoy the Magic Kingdom prior to the party.

    The merriment will include complimentary treat stations throughout the park. You will enjoy my favorites, Holiday Wishes and the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and so much more holiday cheer. Have a wonderful time.
