    Since you need to purchase a special ticket for MVMCP in December, are the crowds lighter. will waits for attractions be shorter? Thanks

    Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) is one of my favorites!  There are so many special opportunities that are offered during this special event.

    There is a limited number of tickets for each evening is it held which makes the crowds lighter than most typical evenings.  The wait times for attractions are usually shorter but there are those attractions like Peter Pan's flight & Dumbo that always seem to have long lines.  On the evenings that I've attended, we were able to walk on a lot of attractions toward the end of the evenings.

    Not every attraction is open during MVMCP but the most popular ones should be.  Although they haven't released the Party Guide for 2011, here are the attractions that were open during the 2010 dates:

    * Pirates of the Caribbean
    * Magic Carpets of Aladdin
    * Swiss Family Treehouse
    * Splash Mountain
    * Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
    * Country Beat Jamboree
    * Haunted Mansion
    * Peter Pan's Flight
    * Carrousel
    * Dumbo
    * Mickey's PhilharMagic
    * Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
    * Mad Tea Party
    * Snow White's Scary Adventures
    * "it's a small world"
    * PeopleMover
    * Space Mountain
    * Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
    * Stitch's Great Escape
    * Tomorrowland Speedway
    * Monster's, Inc., Laugh Floor

    Be sure to pick up a MVMCP Guide when you enter the Magic Kingdom to confirm this year's event schedule & attractions that will be open.  In the past, I've seen the special event maps posted on unofficial Disney websites within hours of the first night of the event.

    If you plan to visit Magic Kingdom on another date during your visit, you may want to take advantage of the MVMCP special events first.  Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
