    Do I need to purchase a seperate ticket to enter the Magig Kingdom on Christmas day 2024?.

    Welcome to planDisney and thank you for asking us a question about your visit to Walt Disney World Resort during the Holidays.

    If I understand your question correctly, you’re asking whether you need a Special Event Ticket or just a “regular” Theme Park Ticket to visit Magic Kingdom Park on Christmas Day. I have some good news for you! The Special Event Tickets are only for evening events such as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and not for visits during the day. This means that a regular Theme Park Ticket (either for a single day at Magic Kingdom Park or a multi-day Magic Ticket) will let you visit the Magic on Christmas Day!

    That said, Christmas Day tends to be one of the busiest days of the year at Magic Kingdom Park. I strongly recommend that you arrive as early as an hour before the Park officially opens for the day. I also wouldn’t count on being able to “hop” to that park if you’ve purchased the Park Hopper Option for your tickets – it may not be available that day.
