Welcome to planDisney, Aaron!
Experiencing The Most Magical Place on Earth through the eyes of your tiny Mouseketeer will bring you so much joy. Maybe they’ll have their first taste of DOLE Whip or get to meet the boss himself, Mickey Mouse. Regardless of what paths you take on your vacation, it’s going to be a blast. As a parent of a little one, all you need is a bit of planning and dash of pixie dust, and everything will be more than worth the adventure.
First things first, I have good news for you, Aaron: Guests of Mickey aged 2 years old and younger do not need a theme park ticket when visiting the Disney Parks. This means that they don’t need a
Lightning Lane Multi Pass because they will not have a ticket that can be linked in your My Disney Experience. Of course, this goes for the Single Pass as well, but they’ll most likely be way too short to partake in those thrilling attractions.
AN EXTRA GEM: If you feel a rumbly in your tumbly while on vacation, I recommend that you do a character dining experience with your little one. What I really like about this age is that babies and toddlers under the age of 3 get to eat for free at All-You-Care-To-Enjoy experiences, including character dining opportunities, at Walt Disney World. One of my family’s favorites is the
Garden Grill Restaurant at EPCOT. The food is delicious, the characters like Mickey Mouse and Chip ‘n Dale are delightful, and the setting in the World Nature neighborhood is unique.
Aaron, feel free to revisit us here at planDisney if you need more tips and tricks for navigating the Walt Disney World Resort with your little one.
I’m all ears! Magic always,
LeAndra
