What do I need to purchase for less waiting on lines for rides?

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Walt Disney World doesn't have a option for guests to purchase something like an express pass; however, there are several amenities available for guests to utilize to help reduce their waits.  First, there are FastPass+ reservations that are available to anyone visiting any of the theme parks. If you are a Disney resort guest, you can make these 60 days before your trip. If not, you can make them 30 days in advance. The FastPass+ allows guests to skip the standby queue and enter the attraction, show, or character meet 'n greet during a specific window of time. Guests can make 3 reservations per day. Once they have used those 3 reservations, guests can check for additional availability of another FastPass+ and so on and so on.

Similarly, if you are staying at Disney Resort, you can utilize Extra Magic Hours which offer Disney resorts guests extra time in the theme parks before they open or after they have closed.  Similarly, I will always encourage other guests to be at the theme parks when they open.  The first part of the morning is often not crowded, even during the busiest seasons, so you can often walk onto many attractions during the first hour.

Finally, there are also Special Events that require a special ticket, and these events sometimes draw smaller crowds, so you may find shorter waits. There are also VIP Tour Services that have the incredible amenity of being escorted through the parks and attractions with a guide, often resulting in shorter waits.
