Hiya Cindy,
Welcome to planDisney! People think I’m crazy, but I think taking your little one to Walt Disney World Resort when they are little is a must! My daughter is not even a year old yet; she has already been twice, and it has been magical. We love seeing her eyes light up when she sees Mickey Mouse or watches the firework shows. Everything is just that more special when they are little.
Speaking of special, one of the reasons we have been able to bring our little one to visit so often is that until she turns three years old, she does not need a Theme Park ticket for admission to the Theme Parks. Another perk you will appreciate is that
Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane selections can only be purchased for Guests who are three or older (valid Theme Park ticketholders). Your little one can tag along and access the Lightning Lane entrances with whoever has purchased access!
I hope this was helpful, Cindy! Before I let you go, don’t forget to check out the
Baby Care Centers during your visit. They are great for a little rest during your day and decompressing with your little one. Another tip is to watch for quiet spots for naps within the Theme Parks. One of my favorite spots is near
DINOSAUR in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, so if that is on your itinerary, feel free to use it. I am a master of spotting a calm corner to lounge with my daughter so that she can nap while her dad hits an attraction that she can’t ride.
Please come back and see us if you need anything!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
