Hi McKenna! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.
While there are admission tickets that require the presentation of a photo ID for entry to the parks, including
California Resident Tickets and
Military Promotional Park Hopper Tickets, a standard
admission ticket doesn't require a government-issued ID. If you purchased a standard admission ticket rather than one of these promotional offers, you're good to go with just the ticket. Moreover, the name on the ticket won't matter once you've scanned into the park. The picture they take of you at the entrance will become associated with the ticket instead of a name.
The one thing to note is you won't be able to purchase an adult beverage without a valid government-issued ID. Be aware you'd need to present your ID if you're ordering an adult beverage at a table service restaurant, quick service location, or using
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering.
You'll be visiting at the spookiest time of year:
Halloween Time! It's the best season if you ask me. Be sure to check out the updates on the
Disney Parks Blog for all the official information about décor, treats, merchandise, and entertainment you can expect to enjoy during your visit. My must-do is the Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park. Have fun putting together your must-do list.
Have a hauntingly good time!
Elizabeth
