Do we need to provide linens?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Virginia!

You are as welcome as can be here at planDisney. Thank you so much for stopping by with your question.  I love helping Guests plan ahead for their Disney vacations, and it looks like yours is just around the riverbend!

Virginia, I am assuming you are asking about linens for a Deluxe Studio that fits five people.  If you are asking about a different type of room, write me back and I'll be happy to provide you a different answer. But I will answer your question based on a Deluxe Studio that fits five people.

If you have booked a Deluxe Studio that fits five people, it depends on the room and the Disney Resort Hotel as to whether the room comes with a fifth sleeper.  Often, the room has a fifth sleeper, which is a flip bed or a Murphy bed. Sometimes, the rooms will say it is for four people but can accommodate a fifth person, with a blow-up mattress on request (but linens won't be provided). Our family has stayed in one of these rooms a few times, and typically, in my experience, you can get a blow-up mattress by calling Guest Services from the telephone in your room.  It is pending availability, but we have never had a problem getting one. We have traveled with our own linens just in case. However, often Guest Services will accommodate a request for linens for the blow-up mattress - it is just not a guarantee.

What you can do is use the "Hey Disney" app in your room (it's the device in your room with Mickey ears) to request additional linens, towels, pillows, and supplies for your room. You can even use it to set an alarm to be awoken by your favorite Disney pals, ask it for park hours, and more! Just say, "Hey Disney, show me what you can do!" The only thing you can't do on the device is request a blow-up mattress for your room. You have to call down to Guest Services for this.

I hope this helps you, Virginia! If you have any further Disney vacation planning questions, soar back here to see me and I'll be so happy to help you.

    Magically Yours,
    Keri
