Welcome to planDisney, Dan!
You must be so excited to finally return home! As you prepare for your visit, don’t forget to check the
latest updates to make your time at the Walt Disney World Resort even more magical!
Following guidance from health authorities and appropriate government agencies, enhanced health and safety measures have been taken to promote cleanliness, physical distancing and reduced contact. That is why it is strongly recommended that you have the latest version of the
My Disney Experience app on your mobile device and keep location services and notifications enabled.
While the app is an amazing tool that allows you to have quick and convenient access to all your plans, you still need to use a ticket card or a MagicBand with valid admission to enter the theme parks. In order to retrieve your physical tickets, you can stop by a will call window located at the entrance of any of the theme parks. You will have to present a valid government-issued photo ID along with the credit or debit card used to purchase the tickets and a copy of the confirmation e-mail that was sent to you. Another great option is to visit the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs the evening before you head to the park. This way you can pick up your physical tickets and enjoy the shopping and dining options available at
Disney Springs. You can also use a
MagicBand to enter theme parks with valid admission. MagicBands are currently complimentary for Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel and other Guests are welcome to purchase one at several merchandise locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort or online at
shopDisney.com. After purchasing a MagicBand, link it to your
Disney account and you will be ready to go!
Please note that your tickets must be property linked to your Disney account as this is required to make theme park reservations via the
Disney Park Pass system. Your reservations will be linked to My Disney Experience so there is no need to print them out. However, you need to be sure that you have a reservation for the day you plan to visit a theme park along with valid admission.
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney, Dan! I hope this helps you while planning and that you have a magical visit.
Best Disney wishes,
Thiana
