So I need to present my ID

    Hello, Raquel!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for contacting us with your question. It looks like you are arriving today at Disneyland Resort! How exciting!

IDs are not needed to enter the theme parks unless using a Southern California resident Magic Key pass or special ticket offer. When your ticket is scanned for the first time at the park entrance, a Cast Member will take your photo. This photo will be attached to your ticket, and tickets cannot be transferred to anyone else after the first use. I still take my state-issued identification whenever I travel to Disneyland just in case it is needed to verify credit card purchases. Photo IDs are also needed when checking into a Disneyland Resort hotel.

You are arriving at Disneyland just in time for the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival! I like to review the Disney Parks Blog Foodie Guide for the Festival to make a plan for all of the food I want to eat. The Carbonara Garlic Mac & Cheese featuring Nueske’s Peppered Bacon and Mickey-shaped Macaron made with SNICKERS bar pieces were my favorite choices last year. This year, I am also looking forward to trying the IMPOSSIBLE Chicken Parm Bites with tomato and cheese sauces and grated parmesan, as well as the S’mores Caramel Tart, a graham cracker tart shell filled with caramel and chocolate ganache topped with a toasted marshmallow. Both sound incredibly tasty!

Raquel, I hope you have a fantastic visit to Disneyland Resort! We would love for you to contact us again if you have other questions!
