    I need to prepare for the weather. Our travel dates are 12/23-12/26/11. This is our first trip to WDW. What kind of weather should I expect. What should I pack to be prepared?

    Hi Khalilah,

    A visit to Walt Disney World over the holidays is definitely the most wonderful time of the year!

    Temperatures at this time of year however can vary wildly. Often the weather will be very pleasant and warm with the majority of guests wearing shorts and t-shirts and then other times like last year, it will be absolutely freezing with people in winter coats, hats, scarves & gloves.

    My family were at Walt Disney World over your travel dates last year and it was the coldest that I have ever seen it. We even had to defrost our car several mornings!

    My best advice to you would be to pack a selection of clothes. Some shorts, t-shirts, long sleeved tops, jeans and a couple of jumpers along with a coat. Having lots of layers available means that you should be able to dress appropriately. We didn't want to have to take a coat with us but were so glad that we did.
