Hi there, Jacqueline! Thanks for swinging by planDisney with your question. You must be very excited for your upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. Just a few more sleeps until your arrival!
I am glad you’re looking into
Disability Access Service (DAS) – it’s a great program designed to support Guests who have difficulty waiting in line for long periods of time.
DAS doesn’t provide immediate access to attractions, however, it enables you to schedule return times for attractions, so you don’t have to wait in the traditional standby queues.
Between 2-30 days prior to your visit, you can
request a live chat through
DAS Advance, and if approved for DAS, they can help you get registered. Just be sure your son is present for the
live chat.
If you’re unable to complete the live chat prior to two days before your visit, you can visit a Guest Services location when you arrive, and they can assist you.
With DAS, you can have a party of six, including the Guest requesting DAS. So, it looks like your party is just the right size!
Jacqueline, I don’t know if you have heard of
Disney Genie+. The phenomenal cosmic power of Genie+ gives you access to shorter queues, called
Lightning Lanes, which are a wonderful way to reduce the time you spend waiting in line. The great thing is, Genie+ can be used in conjunction with DAS.
I hope this information is helpful. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back to us – you have a friend in me!
The magic awaits!
