Will I need to pay for parking when I go purchase tickets? I want to purchase them the day before we go to the park.

    Hi Chante,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Having your tickets in hand before you reach the entrance for one of the Walt Disney World theme parks is a great idea. Though the ticket window lines usually move pretty quickly, you still don't want to waste a minute of your fun if you don't need to.

I would not recommend going to one of the theme parks to purchase those advance tickets, however. I believe you would need to pay the parking fee if you are not a guest at a Walt Disney World resort, and, even without a fee, it would be a bit cumbersome to park and get to the entrance for your transaction, which should take just a few minutes.

Instead, I check at your resort or hotel. All Walt Disney World resorts and select hotels nearby sell tickets. If that doesn't work for you,  I suggest visiting the Guest Relations location at Disney Springs. Parking is free and easily accessible.

The Disney Springs Welcome Center is in the midst of the new Town Center area and has lots of comfy seating. The Lime Garage offers the closest parking. Bonus: The Welcome Center is near some of the yummy quick service dining at Disney Springs -- D-Luxe Burger, Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza and Morimoto Asia Street Food.

You also can purchase advance tickets online.

I hope that helps, Chante. Please don't hesitate to come back again if you have any more questions about your Walt Disney World vacation. We're always here to assist. Enjoy!
