Hi. Do we need passports when sailing from New York?

Hey there, Donna! It's "all hands on deck" over here at planDisney and I'm so happy you're here planning a Disney Cruise Line vacation.

Donna, this question is near and dear to my heart as my family and I will be sailing out of the Big Apple later this year! I can't wait to cruise with Captain Mickey past that New York skyline and then feel that soft Bermuda sand under our toes.

Now, Donna, to make sure your cruise embarkation runs as smoothly as possible, let's chat about required documentation. If you are sailing round trip from New York and members of your traveling party are all U.S. citizens, you may use an Original or copy of your state-issued birth certificate AND a Government-issued photo ID in lieu of a passport. Donna, please take a close look at THIS PAGE that lists all requirements and options.

Donna, no matter when your voyage is scheduled to set sail, I'll be wishing on a star that you have fair winds and following seas. If you have any other questions I hope you'll grab your compass and point it in the direction of planDisney.

    Ahoy!
