Hi, Jovanna! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so happy you cruised to us with your question.
It's important to have the correct
travel documentation, so I'm glad you are being thorough. If your 12-year-old is a US citizen, they may travel on a round-trip Disney Cruise from the United States to the Bahamas using an original or a copy of their state-issued birth certificate. They will need to provide a photo of their birth certificate for the online check-in and carry this document to present during check-in at the cruise terminal. Please note that hospital-issued birth certificates are not acceptable.
That information should clear things up as you proceed toward fun and adventure on your Disney Cruise! I have a 12-year-old son who thinks that a Disney Cruise is the ultimate vacation. He loves to hang out with his fellow cruisers in
Edge, a club for tweens ages 11-14. He also loves grabbing late-night slices of pizza, playing basketball onboard, and making friends. There are tons of activities for
guests of all ages to enjoy. The magic is for everyone!
Jovanna, please visit planDisney again if you have additional questions for us. My pals and I would love to help point your compass toward an amazing vacation.
Happy Planning,
Adrianna
