Ahoy there, Michael!
So glad you are here to talk all about Disney cruising. Your 6-night Western Caribbean voyage from New Orleans is going to be magnificent! I did a similar itinerary back in 2020 and we had so much fun spending time in the Big Easy before boarding the
Disney Wonder.
The best place to go to check travel document requirements is the
Passports, Visas and Citizenship Documentation link. After clicking on the “The Bahamas, Caribbean, Pacific Coast, Bermuda or Canada – Round Trip Cruises“ tab, it outlines exactly what documents you will need for your Caribbean sailing. While you can use a passport, it is not required. But all Guests ages 16 and up will need an original or a copy of a state-issued birth certificate and a government-issued photo ID.
Checking your specific itinerary, it appears that you will be sailing to George Town, Grand Cayman and Cozumel, Mexico but not Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. Not to mention, you will enjoy THREE glorious days at sea. Sometimes these are my favorite days of our trip because I tend to relax more and really focus on all the activities and entertainment onboard. I recommend booking the
Palo brunch and a spa treatment at
Senses Spa and Salon for the ultimate VIP treatment for the senses.
Michael, drop us a line here at planDisney if you think of other planning questions. We are happy to deliver the best Disney Cruise Line advice in all the seven seas. Wishing you the most magical and memorable adventures at sea!
