All aboard planDisney! Welcome, Porche and thanks for sailing on over with your question.
I'm excited to have you here planning a Disney Cruise Line vacation. While my family and I still have another few months with our feet on land, we're already counting down the days until we can step about the
Disney Dream this fall!
Now, Porche, in order to enjoy all there is to see and do on a Disney Cruise Line vacation, you'll need the proper documentation, so let's chat about paperwork.
Original, valid passports are the most accepted form of documentation for all sailings, but in some cases, other forms of identification are permissible. I'll encourage you to thoroughly read through
THIS LINK showing current requirements by sailing and citizenship status. For example, children who are US citizens and under the age of 15 and setting sail on a round-trip cruise from Port Canaveral to
the Bahamas can submit an original or copy of their state-issued birth certificate in lieu of a passport. However, this is not true for all destinations or ports. Please make sure to check
THIS LINK for up-to-date requirements.
Porche, whichever ship and itinerary you choose, I hope you have the most Magical trip. If you have any additional questions, I hope you adjust your navigation back to planDisney. And... as my pal Mickey would say, we'll "see ya real soon!"
