Do you need a passport to go on a Disney Cruise stopping in Mexico

Welcome to planDisney Daniel!  Having the correct citizenship and travel documentation is important to getting your magical vacation onboard Disney Cruise Line started right.

A passport is not required for closed-looped sailings (your cruise itinerary begins and ends at the same US port) for US Citizens.  An original or copy of your state-issued birth certificate and a government-issued ID is also sufficient.  Children 15 years old and younger do not need to present a government-issued photo ID when they present their original or copy of their state-issued birth certificate.  Please note that digital/mobile state-issued IDs are not acceptable to sail.

Daniel, make sure to check out the Port Adventures available during your Eastern Caribbean itinerary.  There are cultural, beach, active, and nature options.  You can also stay on the ship when in port.  Download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to view all of the daily activities once onboard.
