Hiya Jeremy!
Welcome aboard planDisney! It's critical that all sailors have the right travel documentation, so let's dive right in.
Passports, Visas, and Citizenship Documentation are required for all Disney Cruise Line voyages. The specific paperwork depends on your own citizenship and where you are sailing. There are
significant benefits to traveling with a valid passport, however, not all cruise itineraries require that you have one.
Currently, guests who are US Citizens may use their original state-issued birth certificate combined with a physical government-issued photo ID for round-trip cruises to the Bahamas in place of a passport.
There are additional details about travel documents available on the Disney Cruise Line website, and I highly recommend you read all the information for your itinerary carefully. If you have already booked a cruise then you'll find travel guidelines and regulations listed under "My Reservations" for your specific itinerary.
If you're still researching a cruise, you might find these
cruise planning tools helpful! The videos do a great job of showing all the unique features and benefits that make cruising with Disney so magical. I especially love the exclusive island,
Disney Castaway Cay, which is often a stop on cruises in the Bahamas. If you're setting sail in that direction my favorite
Port Adventure is definitely Parasailing!
I hope you'll be sailing along and chasing the horizon with Disney Cruise Line soon, Jeremy!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
