    Do we need park-hopper passes to go from the Magic Kingdom to Chef Mickey's (@ the contemporary) for dinner? We were not planning on getting a pass since we will only be at Disney for 2 full days and are not staying on Disney property. Thx.

    Hi Susan! All guests are more then welcome to come and visit the great Walt Disney World resorts. If you are planning a fun filled day in the Magic Kingdom you would not need a hopper pass to simply head over to the Contemporary Resort for the wonderful Chef Mickey dining experience. I suggest you hop on the monorail no later then thirty minutes before your reservation time to get to the resort. Make sure you take the resort monorail loop as the first stop is in the Contemporary. Head down the escalator and Chef Mickey's location is right on that floor around the corner.

    To get back to the Magic Kingdom park you just reverse your steps to get to the monorail. The park would be the fourth stop. If you are ready to head home and your car is parked in the Transportation and Ticket Center parking lots then simply get off the monorail at the first stop. No tickets are necessary for a monorail trip for you!
