Hey there Carol,
Thanks for visiting planDisney! It's great to hear you're starting off your New Year with a visit to
Walt Disney World Resort. I can't think of a better way to welcome in a New Year than taking time to enjoy all the fun of a Disney destination vacation.
I can understand your questions about how best to plan for a multi-day vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, and I'm happy to help with some planning tips.
To start, before you go, you'll want to know that you'll need both theme park tickets and theme park reservations. After you purchase your theme park tickets, you can use the
Disney Park Pass system to make your park reservations. You can use the helpful
Theme Park Reservation Availability tool to see which parks are available on the days you plan to visit.
When planning your visit, keep in mind that your tickets are nonrefundable and
must be used within a set number of days that can vary based on the length of your multi-day ticket. So, for example, if you purchase a 4-day ticket, it will expire 7 days after the date you select to start using the tickets. I always enjoy the savings I get with purchasing multi-day tickets, and I can always count on lots to see and do when spending several days in the parks.
Carol, you'll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort during one of my favorite times of the year. Be sure to make time to experience the
Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts. I always enjoy all the foods, the arts, and the fun that this celebration offers.
Because you're traveling in early 2021, Carol, you might want to
check out the special offer for room discounts at select Disney Resort hotels at Walt Disney World Resort.
Carol, enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World Resort in January.
Have a great Disney day!
Jerry
