Hi Amberley! Thanks for bringing such a great planning question to planDisney!
Guests who book a dining reservation at
Chef Mickey’s do not need to purchase a park ticket! That’s because Chef Mickey’s is not located in a Disney Park! Chef Mickey’s is located in
Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Not only do you not need a park ticket, but you do not need to be a Guest of that resort hotel to dine at Chef Mickey’s! As long as you are lucky enough to score a reservation at this popular character dining location, you can dine at the restaurant!
Amberley, there are many popular dining locations located inside the four Disney Parks. If you ever make a dining reservation for any of them, you must have a park ticket as well as a Disney Park Pass reservation to dine at the restaurant. Two examples would be Be Our Guest Restaurant and Cinderella’s Royal Table. Both are located within Magic Kingdom Park.
You are going to love Chef Mickey's! Not only is the food top-notch, but the character appearances are so magical! Have your camera ready! Also, don't forget to get your complimentary autograph card after dinner! I hope this helps with your planning! Feel free to visit us again with any additional planning questions!
