Do I need a park ticket to dine in Chef Mickey's. I have hotel reservations on 9/24-9/27 and I have a two day tickets on the 9/25 9/26 but my reservation for the dinning is on the 9/24.

    Hi, there!

Welcome to planDisney, Gabriel. I'm so happy you stopped by and even happier to hear you'll be traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few days! There's no place I'd rather be, that's for sure.

I'm always sure to book at least one Character Dining Experience for my family's next Disney vacation. At these unique meals, I know we'll fill our bellies with delicious food AND enjoy the company of beloved Disney Characters, all in one place! I mean, what could be better than that?

Chef Mickey's is one of our all-time favorite Character Dining Experiences. In fact, we have a years-long tradition of visiting Chef Mickey's on our arrival day. Seeing Mickey Mouse and his pals is the perfect way to kick off a Disney vacation! To answer your question, you absolutely do not need Theme Park Tickets to enjoy a reservation at Chef Mickey's. This restaurant is located at Disney's Contemporary Resort, so no entry to Magic Kingdom Park is required. My family never visits a theme park on our arrival day, but we do utilize Disney transportation to get to our annual reservation at Chef Mickey's. If you'll be staying at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, you can simply hop on the Resort monorail to get to Disney's Contemporary Resort. Otherwise, you can take a bus to Magic Kingdom Park and then hop on the Resort monorail. And trust me, you won't need to enter Magic Kingdom Park to do that! Another option is to take a bus to Magic Kingdom Park and then walk from the bus stop to Disney's Contemporary Resort. It's a quick and easy walk!

Be sure to review the Know Before You Go section of the Walt Disney World Resort website before your arrival this week. It has lots of important information about the health and safety measures that are being taken in and out of the theme parks!

I hope this was helpful, Gabriel. Please tell Mickey I said, "hello!"
