Hi Kathleen. I'm so excited for you! Your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just a few short days away!!
As you are putting the final touches on your plans, you will be glad to know that children younger than 3 do not need a
ticket.
Because you will be traveling with a baby, I want to let you know about a wonderful location you may want to visit. When traveling to the theme parks, be sure to take advantage of the
Baby Care Centers. There is a Baby Care Center in all 4 theme parks. They are a perfect place to change, feed and nurse little ones. Each Baby Care Center has Cast Members available to assist with all of the amenities you will find.
There is a private nursing room with rocking chairs, a feeding area with highchairs, and a changing room with multiple changing stations. There is also a kitchen with a microwave oven and sink so you can warm up food or milk for your infant or toddler. If you get to the theme park and realize you left one of your essential baby care needs in your Resort hotel room, pop into the Baby Care Center. They have a small shop where you can purchase items such as formula, baby food, diapers, wipes and other necessities. The shop was a life saver for us on more than one occasion. There is also a room with a television where you can sit and relax for a few moments if needed. When my 2 were little, the oldest typically hung out with dad in the main room while I took care of little brother.
My kiddos are older now so we no longer visit the Baby Care Centers but when we did, they were a little piece of pixie dust inside a magical vacation.
Have a wonderful time and please let us know if you have any further last minute questions as you plan your vacation. Enjoy every magical moment!
