Hello, Toni!
Welcome to planDisney! I hope we can help you create the most memorable trip!
I have good news for you: Even though most Disney Resorts are super close to the fun at the Disney Theme Parks, you don't need
theme park tickets to stay at the resorts. Since I fly from California, I usually arrive at my Disney Resorts in Orlando two days before my first theme park day, for example. Arriving early helps me adjust to the time difference and enjoy the fantastic atmosphere at the hotels.
But staying in the Pacific timezone, let me tell you that you will have a wonderful time in California at the
Disneyland Resort hotels on your next visit.
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is my absolute favorite: The lobby is impressive, the
Tenaya Stone Spa is brand new, the pool area is exquisite, and the food is unparalleled. Don't skip dinner at Napa Rose if you stay there in March. Their dishes and wines are outstanding!
You'll also find extraordinary grounds at the
Disneyland Hotel and lots of fabulous Disney memorabilia in the lobby. Don't skip the
Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar when you stay there. It's truly magical!
I hope you have a great time in March, Toni. If you have more questions, don't hesitate to come back. We're always here to help!
May the magic be with you,
Julie
