Hello Julie! Welcome to planDisney! I can't think of a better way to ring in the New Year than to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! Your visit is getting so close! I hope you've got your countdown to Disney going!
You are correct that Guests must have a reservation to visit the Disney Parks. Guests can secure their reservation using the
Disney Park Pass Reservation System. Guests must also have a valid park admission ticket to enter the park. Once you have both a reservation and a park ticket, you are welcome to enter, leave, and then re-enter the park at a later time. You don't need another reservation to re-enter the park!
This is a planning strategy that my family and I use during our visits! We usually start our Disney day early! We get to the park in time for opening. We then spend the morning hours enjoying our favorite attractions! Mine is
Mickey's PhilharMagic! My wife loves
Peter Pan's Flight! Our boys love the Magic Kingdom "mountain range" -
Splash Mountain,
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and
Space Mountain! After these favorites, we head back to our resort for lunch and time by the pool! We then head back to the resort to enjoy more attractions and revisit some of our favorites from the morning if time allows! Don't forget, you can get into a line for an attraction up until park closing time and still enjoy the attraction even after the park has closed!
Julie, I hope this information is helpful as you continue your planning for your upcoming visit!
Hakuna Matata! Jonathan G.
