Hello there, Ann!
It is a pleasure to welcome you to planDisney. Thank you for stopping by and sharing your question with us. We hope to help you plan an unforgettable Disney vacation.
As you are aware, all Guests ages 3 and up must have a
theme park reservation for each park they wish to visit, in addition to valid theme park admission. However, you do not need a Disney Park Pass to
book dining reservations. You are welcome to make reservations at restaurants located inside theme parks and make theme park reservations later. Remember, however, that dining reservations do not guarantee theme park entry. Since Park Hopper hours begin at 2:00 p.m., you will need to have a Disney Park Pass reservation, depending on the time of your booking.
No Walt Disney World Resort visit is complete without a visit to my favorite restaurants. I must admit I always plan my days around my dining reservations. Some dining destinations are very popular, so I recommend making reservations as early as possible. Guests can book dining 60 days in advance, but if you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can make reservations for your entire length of stay (for up to a 10-night stay) up to 60 days in advance of your arrival so I recommend booking popular restaurants towards the end of your visit.
I hope this information is helpful, Ann. Come back to visit for more tips and advice as you plan your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
