Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Jennifer!
Welcome to planDisney, we are so happy to have you. Now let’s answer your question so that you can get back to planning for this exciting visit!
Depending on the type of
theme park ticket you have, you might have to schedule a
theme park reservation. For date-based theme park tickets, you don’t need to schedule a reservation, so first, begin by checking your ticket type.
If your ticket does require a theme park reservation, you will schedule your reservation for the first theme park you would like to visit for the day. For example, if you want to begin your day in Magic Kingdom and spend the evening in
EPCOT, you will schedule your reservation for
Magic Kingdom. Then, when you are ready to hop, you can just hop on over with no problem! (So long as you have a park hopper ticket). That second, third, and maybe even fourth theme park you visit, on the same day, won’t need a reservation!
I have completed the four parks in one day, once! It was wild and definitely a core memory. However, since most visits are with our little ones, we usually stick to one park per day. If we do hop, there is a high chance we have gone to our
resort for a quick nap and refresh before closing out a different theme park. My husband loves going somewhere else in the evenings, so that is usually what we do on most visits. Or it could be that midday nap that wins him over, I’m not sure.
Whichever it is, I hope this has helped answer your theme park hopping question. If you have any others, please
let me know. Until then, happy planning and see ya real soon!
Magical wishes,
Shantel
